Who We Are
How we started.
I would like to tell you a bit about how I started on the road to breeding Champion Great Danes. I grew up on my mothers Arabian Stud Farm so I wanted a big dog that was compatible with horses. That’s when I acquired my first Dane a blue dog in 1979 called ‘Steel Blue Knight’ (Spencer). He was a true Dane and hooked me on the breed forever! He was not on his own for long as I was given a black bitch ‘Gerandesta Fantasy’ (Asti), who lived to be 15 and a half years old. She in turn had 14 puppies, 7 black and 7 blue. I made so many friends through the puppies that I was encouraged to show a black bitch. This set me off on the lifelong road to successfully showing and breeding Champion Great Danes.

Quality always the priority
With many years of experience working with powerful and majestic breeds, I've developed a deep passion for the Great Danes. This remarkable breed quickly captured my heart, surpassing any breed I have worked with in the past, due mainly to the Great Dane's superior intelligence and natural eagerness to please its owners. At Family Great Danes, we take great pride in breeding healthy, top-quality Great Dane dogs that are not just pets, but valued members of the family. Our team is dedicated to providing an unparalleled experience from the very first conversation through the day your new companion joins your home. We aim to exceed your expectations in every interaction, and we invite you to allow us to deliver the Great Dane that meets your preferences.
